Its taken us 65 years to have our first overseas trip and everything organized by New Zealand Holidays went like clockwork. The coach tour to Milford Sound was our favourite part, the driver" Stan" was very entertaining and made a long drive fun. Our one disappointment was the seats on the trains can't be selected so you may find yourself seated facing backwards at a table for 4 with little room to stretch your legs out. We would love to return and would definitely book with New Zealand Holidays next time. JD Julie Douglas Australia 5 /5 Dec 2024 Nice to have the balance of car hire, bus/boat/train/shuttle transfer trips included. I think I would give the glaciers a miss and spend another day in Queenstown, then go up the central South Island to see more lakes etc. Would have been nice to have transfer included from Picton train station to motel & back to ferry due to bad weather & moving luggage. Most accommodation in the big cities was central which was helpful for getting around. JS Jeff Seaby Australia 5 /5 Nov 2024 You do not need stress on your holiday. An NZH holiday is stress free. They organised everything from whoa to go. Car hire at the airport, a car waiting. Accomodation at every stop, walk in, a comfortable bed and a hot shower waiting for you. Pick up for or from a train journey, air flight or ferry ride, a shuttle bus on time every time. I’ve already advised and encouraged family and friends to use NZH services. value accommodation service overall
RT Roman Trybus Australia 5 /5 Oct 2024 Everywhere we went was easy to book in with no problems. Sally was excellent to deal with, made minor changes to suit our needs quickly and efficiently. It made our holiday very enjoyable and relaxing. Would definitely use them again. value accommodation service overall
SB Stephen Beasley Australia 5 /5 Oct 2024 New Zealand is a lovely country to visit. We experienced good weather and safe travelling. The trip would have been better if we had arrived a day earlier as we had very early starts 2 days in a row with a 12 hour bus & boat trip to Milford Sound the day after arriving from Brisbane. The following day was a long drive from Queenstown to Franz Josef. The train journeys were amazing. The Super Shuttles were reliable. I would have appreciated parking at Queenstown to be included in the original price. The last hotel we stayed at - Ramada by Wyndham, Vistoria St West, Auckland had nobody there to check us in, even though we arrived before the Reception stated closing time and we had not received any communication from them about access to keys after hours. It also strongly had the smell of paint - it appeared to be fairly new. I would recommend the package as a great way to travel and see some of New Zealand. AG Anne Gidley Australia 5 /5 Sep 2024 Trip was excellent but NZ has so much to see. We added four days at end of our trip in north island but will need to go back to see more. In hindsight we thought we should have got a car in Wellington and driven north to see more even though the train and commentary was good. value accommodation service overall

GN Gail Napier Australia 3 /5 Feb 2024 Estella did a wonderful job with placing us in accommodation positioned in the middle of the cities. She had everything in place, no issue's from start to finish, fantastic job on her behalf. But our disappointment were the train's, a lot of hour's on train's with minimal great scenery. Those trip's were dominated by farmland, ordinary countryside, vineyard's and pine forest's. The way the train's are promoted is not what you see because you are on the train. We would never recommend them as a way to see the country. Next time we will endeavour to drive ourselves around, something we loved with the hire car at the beginning of the trip. Every one associated with our trip were absolutely lovely, welcoming, obliging and friendly. A very big thank you to Estella. Read moreView less value accommodation service overall
